PalliativePros positively impacts continuity and improves hospice and home palliative care with innovative, state-of-the-art medical devices that enhance patient comfort and wellbeing, while easing caregiver burden.  Additionally, PalliativePros enables caregivers to provide better care that is cost-effective.

PalliativePros understands the rising costs of providing quality medical equipment and that meeting the challenges of patient’s changing needs is paramount. Our focus is centered from the nurse caregiver’s perspective. This perspective has led to the development of PalliativePros’ first product, the RespRelief Pump, which is an FDA Registered Class 1 medical device, designed to meet CE (European Standards).

Now available to the global market, the RespRelief Pump was developed by PalliativePros founder and owner, Donna Walsh Morgan, an 18-year veteran hospice nurse. The RespRelief Pump fulfills an unmet need in home palliative care that “bridges the gap” when the most vulnerable heart and lung patients often go into a flash PE and drowning crisis at EOL processes.  As part of field nurse’s basic car stock, the RespRelief Pump provides all nurses with 24/7 access to an oral suction device as their patients’ needs arise.

The RespRelief Pump improves the quality of life for patients with advanced cardio/respiratory and neurological diseases and disorders that compromise the ability to cough and expectorate accumulated upper respiratory secretions.

PalliativePros engages with palliative researchers who identify with the nurse, patient and family perspective in the home setting. Our mission is to provide improved and innovative approaches in home palliative care.

The goal of PalliativePros is for every hospice field nurse to have a RespRelief Pump in their basic car stock, as a crisis occurs, when patients can’t wait.
